Harwintha Yuhria Anjarningsih; A Picture of Ideal Woman.
September 21, 2014.

Harwintha Yuhria Anjarningsih, who is often called Ms. Wiwin, is one of the lecturer in English Department University of Indonesia. She was born on 2nd of March, 1991 in Kebumen. She is known for having a great integrity and quality when it comes to teaching matter. This quality surely comes from her educational background. She was awarded an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship to study in Europe after she graduated from University of Indonesia. She went to Finland, Netherland and Germany to finish her Master in Clinical Linguistic for 15 months. In 2012, she got her Doctorate degree after she spent 3,5 years to finish it in Netherland. However, behind her professionalism in teaching, she is also a great figure of mother.
Ms. Wiwin was married in 2006, and gave birth to her two little sons.  Her first son is 7 years old now, and her second son is only 1 year old. Her children are really dependent on their mother so much since they are still very young. At home, she dedicates all her time to take care of her children. Every day, she leads her role as a good mother. She always makes breakfast for her sons, helps her first son to do the homework, helps him in his preparation to go to school, and plays with her second son. She also does the house chores such as laundry, drying clothes, and cooking. You can probably imagine how hard it is for her to take care of her two little sons, and do her job as a lecturer professionally at the same time. She sometimes finds it difficult to split her time between her family and her job as a lecturer. Because of her busyness in taking care of house stuffs, she can hardly do the preparation for teaching and correcting the students’ assignments. Fortunately, she has an affectionate husband, who understands her situation and always supports her to overcome her difficulties. In our interview on last Thursday, she once said, “Sometimes it’s very difficult to manage time especially when I have a lot of writing materials to correct. That’s really challenging. But I think is here the key is actually in understanding between a wife and a husband, and also discipline”. She admits that she gets so many helps from her husband to handle the stuffs at home.
However, nothing great happens without any loss. Ms. Wiwin, who really likes traditional food, has to sacrifice the quality time for herself.  She concedes that she rarely hangs out with other people or goes to the restaurant. Unlike any other women, she rarely indulges herself. For her, waking up at 3 o’clock in the morning, doing the pray, having a cup of tea while reading online newspaper or shopping online already satisfy her.
Her professionalism in teaching, her great contribution in raising her children, and her simplicity, makes her such an inspirational figure of women who succeeds to undergo her roles as a mother and also a career woman. She is a picture of the idea of ideal woman. She is what every woman wants to be.
